Dress-up week!

Well Dress-up week was fun... :D
so ok...

Day1- Hip Socks
I wore leg/arm warmers

Day 2- Athlete's day
I of course wore my jersey...but I mixed it up a little by wearing my golf shorts, tennis shoes, baseball/trucker cap, and etc...

Day 3- What I Want to be when I grow up
Ok, so I wasn't really sure what I wanted to be when I grow up, so I just wore knee length shorts and a long sleeve shirt and told the people that I wanted to be a business woman with hobbies such as sports and music and I brought my saxophone as a prop.

Day 4- Stylish Hair Day
So I went to school with nothing really different with my hair but after devotions I went to the CR and sprayed my hair with different colors such as green, gold, purple, and red.

Day 5- Sleepyhead goes to School
Day 5 was the last day of the whole 5-day dress-up week and we had to wear our pajams and bring our own teddy bears or stuff toys. I wore my pajama pants and a corny shirt that said "What's Minnie without Mickey, what's something something something, what's Piglet without Pooh, and what's me without you" I know corny right? lol so anyway after 3 subjects we had to change into our PE uniforms so that we could be able to play PE which was really really fun and at the same time really really tiring...
So yeah that was pretty much it...

ok....

byeeee! lol. :D :)))

Sports....

Sports are very important. Some people play sports for money and fame, but I think the true meaning is to have fun. Children join teams and make friends, and isn't that just a great thing, to know that you have those friends to trust and to grow up with. You can also enjoy sports because you know that you are getting exercise and it feels amazing to have muscles, doesn't it? Exercise is key to a healthy life style and I think more people should realize that, even though it kills to go outside and sweat, it will truly pay off in the long run, so if you just take the chance, you will be proud of your work.

Golfer's swing sparks!

You can use a golf club for all kinds of non-golfy purposes -- walking stick, fishing rod, club, to name three. And now we can add to that list -- firestarter.

Over the weekend, a golfer's routine swing in the rough at the Shady Canyon Golf Course in Irvine, Calif., struck a rock. Not so different from the way you play, right? Only this time, the impact caused a spark, and the spark set off a blaze that eventually covered 25 acres, according to the Steven Buck, General Manager of Shady Canyon Golf Course, and required the efforts of 150 Orange County firefighters, writes the Associated Press.
Wow. And I felt bad the time I shanked a ball through the window of a house too close to the fairway. That was nothing compared to this!

The golfer's name is being withheld, which is probably for the best, and no charges are going to be filed. Fortunately, it all could have been much worse. As it was, the blaze required both helicopters and on-the-ground crews.

The conditions were ripe for a blaze, with dry brush from a recent heat wave just waiting for the right spark. Like, say, one caused by metal on rock.

And now, your turn. This is going to inspire a raft of bad Sportscenter-esque "When we say he set the course on fire, he really set the course on fire!" jokes. So let's get ahead of the curve. Best bad golf-and-fire-related pun in the comments wins a round of applause. Go!
