Dress-up week!

Well Dress-up week was fun... :D
so ok...

Day1- Hip Socks
I wore leg/arm warmers

Day 2- Athlete's day
I of course wore my jersey...but I mixed it up a little by wearing my golf shorts, tennis shoes, baseball/trucker cap, and etc...

Day 3- What I Want to be when I grow up
Ok, so I wasn't really sure what I wanted to be when I grow up, so I just wore knee length shorts and a long sleeve shirt and told the people that I wanted to be a business woman with hobbies such as sports and music and I brought my saxophone as a prop.

Day 4- Stylish Hair Day
So I went to school with nothing really different with my hair but after devotions I went to the CR and sprayed my hair with different colors such as green, gold, purple, and red.

Day 5- Sleepyhead goes to School
Day 5 was the last day of the whole 5-day dress-up week and we had to wear our pajams and bring our own teddy bears or stuff toys. I wore my pajama pants and a corny shirt that said "What's Minnie without Mickey, what's something something something, what's Piglet without Pooh, and what's me without you" I know corny right? lol so anyway after 3 subjects we had to change into our PE uniforms so that we could be able to play PE which was really really fun and at the same time really really tiring...
So yeah that was pretty much it...

ok....

byeeee! lol. :D :)))

Sports....

Sports are very important. Some people play sports for money and fame, but I think the true meaning is to have fun. Children join teams and make friends, and isn't that just a great thing, to know that you have those friends to trust and to grow up with. You can also enjoy sports because you know that you are getting exercise and it feels amazing to have muscles, doesn't it? Exercise is key to a healthy life style and I think more people should realize that, even though it kills to go outside and sweat, it will truly pay off in the long run, so if you just take the chance, you will be proud of your work.

Golfer's swing sparks!

You can use a golf club for all kinds of non-golfy purposes -- walking stick, fishing rod, club, to name three. And now we can add to that list -- firestarter.

Over the weekend, a golfer's routine swing in the rough at the Shady Canyon Golf Course in Irvine, Calif., struck a rock. Not so different from the way you play, right? Only this time, the impact caused a spark, and the spark set off a blaze that eventually covered 25 acres, according to the Steven Buck, General Manager of Shady Canyon Golf Course, and required the efforts of 150 Orange County firefighters, writes the Associated Press.
Wow. And I felt bad the time I shanked a ball through the window of a house too close to the fairway. That was nothing compared to this!

The golfer's name is being withheld, which is probably for the best, and no charges are going to be filed. Fortunately, it all could have been much worse. As it was, the blaze required both helicopters and on-the-ground crews.

The conditions were ripe for a blaze, with dry brush from a recent heat wave just waiting for the right spark. Like, say, one caused by metal on rock.

And now, your turn. This is going to inspire a raft of bad Sportscenter-esque "When we say he set the course on fire, he really set the course on fire!" jokes. So let's get ahead of the curve. Best bad golf-and-fire-related pun in the comments wins a round of applause. Go!

This is so sad...

One day at school a girl was asked to a party by a boy she had liked for years. Of course, saying yes she headed home happily. The girl asked her parents if she could go out that night but was turned down. Her parents were going out to eat for their anniversary and didn't want her to go. Besides, they reasoned, you don't even know this boy very well. The girl agreed sullenly and went to her room. Calling her friend, she made plans to pretend to spend the night there while really going to the party. Her friend agreed and the girl tricked her parents into letting her stay with her close friend. Saying goodbye to her parents the girl left to her friends house where she told the boy to pick her up. The boy arrived on time and they left for the party. The girl felt so excited to be with the boy that she liked, that at first she didn't mind that he was drinking. Soon, even she had consumed alcohol and was feeling good about coming. Waving goodbye they both piled into the car, with the boy driving. As they drove, he kept on swerving and increasing the speed. You're going to fast! she complained giggling a bit. Suddenly the boy crossed a red light and crashed into a car that was turning in front of them.

Two days later the girl woke up in the hospital. Looking around she spotted a nurse sitting in the corner. The nurse smiled and asked how she was feeling. The girl could only nod her head before quickly asking what had happened. The nurse lowered her eyes as she explained that her crush had survived but the people in the other car had died. The girl felt tears welling up in her eyes as she thought about their families. As they began to fall down her face the girl pleaded for the nurse to tell the deceased's families how sorry she was. Looking at the girl with anguished eyes, the nurse turned her head away and quickly got up. Please! the girl cried out. Tell them I'm so sorry! Nodding her head once the nurse fled from the room, hiding the tears that were already streaming donw her own two cheeks. How could she be the one to tell the girl, that the people who died that night, that were in the other car were her parents returning home from the restaraunt?

Mistakes are part of life, everyone makes them, everyone regrets them. But, some learn from them and some end up making them again. It's up to you to decide if you'll use your mistakes to your advantage.

This was claimed to be a true story.

Don't wait for the brick...

A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no children appeared. Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door! He slammed on the brakes and drove the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown. The angry driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car, shouting, "What was that all about and who are you?
Just what the heck are you doing?
That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money.
Why did you do it?"
The young boy was apologetic. "Please mister ... please, I'm sorry... I didn't know what else to do," he pleaded.
"I threw the brick because no one else would stop..."
With tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked car.
"It's my brother," he said.
"He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up."

Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, "Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me."
Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat. He hurriedly lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took out his fancy handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything was going to be okay.

"Thank you and may God bless you," the grateful child told the stranger.
Too shook up for words, the man simply watched the little boy push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk toward their home. It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door. He kept the dent there to remind him of this message: Don't go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention!

God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us.

It's our choice: Listen to the whisper ... or wait for the brick!

Sand and Stone

A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand: "TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE."
They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one, who had been slapped, got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After the friend recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone: "TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE."
The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, "After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?"
The other friend replied: "When someone hurts us, we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it."
LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS IN THE SAND, AND TO CARVE YOUR BENEFITS IN STONE

Eagles in a storm

Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks?
The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it.
The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm.

When the storms of life come upon us - and all of us will experience them - we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief toward God. The storms do not have to overcome us. We can allow God's power to lift us above them.

God enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure and disappointment in our lives. We can soar above the storm.
Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weigh us down, it is how we handle them.

There's an Antipinoy.com?!?

Wahhh! I just found out that there was an Antipinoy.com website! wow! it's latest post there was called
"Massacre Aftermath: Are you proud to be a Failipino?"
They can't even spell The Philippines and Filipinos correctly! wow! I mean they spelled  it as "Failippines" AND "Failipinos!"

woahhhh... I just noticed that it was FAILipinos and FAILippines! how mean!
That Mendoza guy shouldn't even be called a filipino he doesn't deserve to be one...

The Hijacking...

Wow... what a shame for the Filipinos.
I mean a weird and crazy ex-policeman just suddenly hijacks a bus full of foreigners, wow....
I can't believe it!  plus! The "SWAT" team was kinda really stupid and whack! I mean for them to try to brake/shatter the somewhat shatter proof glass of the bus with a hammer, try to open a door activated by hydrolics, and their weird switching of places and actions OUTSIDE the bus I mean what were the thinking?!? There was an emergency exit door thing, why didn't they even think of that? plus I believe that the police officers should be physically fit cause you can't run around with blobs and flabs bouncing up and down! you would just be a very easy target! and it would be very hard for you...  They're just really weird, crazy, and overall unexperienced and they obviously lack training....

We can't go to Hong Kong anymore! I mean we can still go and stuff but it would be really weird and stuff, We might even get harassed!maybe...
I can't I repeat can NOT  ride Space Mountain anymore! waaaahhhhh! :((
Well anyway back to the point, this sucks and again what a shame for us Filipinos, that Murderer/Hijacker doesn't deserve to be called a Filipino...

Please do NOT call us "FAILipinos!" or call the Philippines "FAILippines!" please!

Charice and her round cheeks/face... lol

hmmm...
Well to me Charice didn't really need any of those surgery thingies 'cause God made her the way she is. She shouldn't have to change just because she doesn't really look "good"...
She shouldn't be ashamed of how she looks.
And hey, I have roundish and chubbyish cheeks too! :D can't blame me! I like milk! but I'm not afraid to show it!
and i might not be a big star like her but still!
And if I really wanted to change how my cheeks or face were I would just simply exeercise more! LOL! :)))
soooo... anyway.... that's it!
....lol... byyyyeeeee!!! :)))

life...

"Life changes every minute of every day. You lose friends and you gain friends. You realize your friend wasn't ever really your friend and that person that you used to hate can make a really good friend. You look for love. You find love and you lose love. You realize all along that you've been loved. You laugh, you cry. You laugh so hard that you cry. You do this, You do that. You really wish you didn't do that. You then learn from that and is glad you did. You have your ups, and you have your downs. You see good movies. You see bad movies. You wonder if your life is just one big movie. You look at others and wish you were them. You then realize who they are and are glad that you are you. You love life, you hate life. in the end, you just find yourself happy to be living life, no matter what is thrown at you."

Follow your Dreams...

"All men dream but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible."
 ~ T.E. Lawrence
